The Albany County Pistol Club was formed in the early 1950's by shooters who were interested in shooting the
NRA Indoor National Match Program, i.e.: Bullseye shooting.
We offer a safe, secure, 8-station indoor range for target practice and informal competitions for members and their invited guests.
The Albany County Pistol Club is not open to the public.

The ACPC is affiliated with the National Rifle Association and the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association.
Members must have a valid New York State Pistol license and are encouraged to join the National Rifle association.

Permissible firearms are handguns utilizing generally recognized handgun cartridges (handguns firing rifle cartridges are prohibited).
Long guns firing .22 rimfire cartridges can also be used on the range.

THE ACPC, in conjunction with other Clubs in Albany County, conducts Pistol Licenses Safety Classes required for applying for a
New York State Pistol License. Classes are conducted by certified NRA Pistol Instructors and include live-fire demonstrations.
All aspects of the application process, license restrictions and jurisdictions, handgun safety, maintenance, storage and transportation are presented.

We can provide assistance in selecting your first handgun, teaching shooting fundamentals and improving your shooting skills.
